  • 1 Qt. rainbow sherbet
  • 20 oz. Ginger Ale

Instructions

  • Line baking sheet or 8x8 pan with parchment
  • Scoop out 6 scoops of sherbet, placing on parchment one at a time.
  • Place tray in freezer until completely frozen, about 30-60 minutes.
  • When ready to serve remove tray from freezer.
  • Put three scoops into each glass and fill with ginger ale.
  • Serve with straw and spoon.

Notes

1. This recipe makes two full size floats. Adjust quantities if serving less or more.
2. Number of scoops of sherbet can be adjusted to your liking, you can add more or less.
3. Freezing scoops of sherbet step can be skipped, the sherbet will melt faster but still taste just as amazing.
4. This recipe makes 2 large floats. 1 qt of sherbet will yield about 9 scoops of sherbet but 20 oz ginger ale will fill only two large glasses, if you want to make more than two floats adjust quantities as necessary/buy more as necessary.
